Opening the doors in 2009 by JP & Ashley Pardy — Recess is an independent, family-owned/operated skate and snowboard shop. From day one, our mission has always been to carry the best products and brands, provide excellent customer-service, and make a positive impact in our community. We proudly support a team of talented riders, sponsor local contests, host video premiers and have recently worked with the Town of Boone to bring the first public concrete skatepark to our hometown.
